Mainstream schools in Pakistan that support inclusive education for children with special educational needs (SEN) generally work one of two ways: some run their own in-house Learning Support department with school-appointed shadow teachers, while others operate an inclusive policy that allows parents to bring in an external Shadow Teacher or Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to accompany their child in the classroom.
