AP Tuition in the UK — From £9/hr

Advanced Placement (AP), run by the US College Board, offers single-year, college-level courses that culminate in one external exam per subject each May, scored 1-5. Unlike the IB, there's no universal coursework or Internal Assessment requirement across every subject — most AP exams are entirely exam-based, split into Section I (Multiple Choice) and Section II (Free Response), though a handful of subjects work differently: AP Drawing is assessed entirely through a submitted portfolio with no written exam at all, and AP Computer Science Principles includes a pre-submitted "Create" performance task alongside its written exam.

Our AP tutors work one-to-one with students across every subject, building genuine content mastery and Section II free-response technique — often the difference between a 3 and a 5. Lessons are built around your specific course, your target score, and the university credit or placement policy you're aiming for.
