Choosing between the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme and A-Level is one of the most common pre-university decisions parents in Pakistan face. Both are internationally recognized, but they're structured very differently — IB asks for breadth across 6 subjects plus its own Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge components, while A-Level lets students specialize early in 3–4 subjects.
